Donald M. Gray

Donald M. Gray, 65, lifelong resident of Superior, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born on March 9, 1960, to Cyril "Cy" and Katherine (Marek) Gray.

He graduated from Superior Senior High School in the class of 1978. Don then worked as an independent building maintenance contractor and property owner for several years.

Don was a classic car enthusiast who also had a love for stock car racing. In his younger years, he also enjoyed dirt biking, working on cars, playing hockey, and hunting. Above all, Don loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Gray, Superior, WI, and Mike Gray, Madison, WI; the mother of his children, Tammy Lillo, Superior, WI, and brother, Mitch (Dawn Milinkovich) Gray, Superior.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Gray, and sister, Janet Gray.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street in Superior.
