Donald Robert Liska, 30, resident of St. Paul, MN, formerly of the Superior area, died unexpectedly Monday, September 9, 2019 in his home.
He was born in Superior, October 11, 1988, the son of Gary and Shelly (Olson) Liska. He graduated from Spooner High School and attended Lake Superior College.
He served his country in the United States Navy and served in Afghanistan.
He relocated to St. Paul in 2017, where he worked in sales for St. Paul Stamp Commercial Printing for two years.
Donald enjoyed bowling and was a “die hard Minnesota Viking’s fan.” He especially loved spending time with his family and friends and was so easy to get along with. He will forever be remembered as a “special angel”, and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his father, Gary (Dianne) Liska, Superior, WI; mother, Shelly Liska, Rice Lake, WI; sister, Sara Fischer, Superior, WI; nieces, Oliva, Sofia and Amelia Gustafson; his special friend, Sophe Moua; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Friday, September 27, 2019, at Peace Lutheran Church, 9523 E. US Highway 2, Poplar, WI, and will continue until the 2:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Donna Rutten officiating.
