Donna Keppers

Donna Keppers, 53, South Range, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born on May 31, 1961 in Superior to Ronald and Eileen (Allen) Wohlwend and was a lifelong area resident.

Donna graduated from Superior Senior High School. She married James Keppers on June 4, 1982 and celebrated 32 years of marriage.

She was employed as a unit secretary at St. Francis Home in the Park.
Donna loved flowers, enjoyed bicycling, vacationing and was an avid skier.

In addition to her husband Jim, Donna is survived by one son, Joel (Sarah Plachta) Keppers, Superior; her father Ronald Wohlwend, Superior; three sisters, Jeannette (Rick Schacte) Schuler, Superior, Lisa (Steve) Paine, Superior, Karen Wohlwend, Superior; one brother, Charles Wohlwend, Superior; her father-in-law, George Keppers, Duluth and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a nephew Ryan Wohlwend-Hardie and her mother-in-law, Violet Keppers.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2015 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th St., Superior.
