Donna Mae Larson

Donna Mae Larson, 87, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation in Superior. She was born in Princeton, MN, March 29, 1933, the daughter of Oscar and Evelyn (Bullis) Olson.

Donna was united in marriage to Edward G. Larson.

She worked as a CNA at the former St. Mary’s Hall and the former St. Francis in the Park, for many years before retirement. She was a longtime member of Twin Ports Baptist Church in Superior.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Rosalyn) Larson, and Robert (Tammie) Larson, Richfield, MN; daughter, Peggy (Kenneth) Jossund, Superior, WI; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Betty) Olson, of Michigan, and Michael Olson, Ashland, WI; sisters, Lois Mathison, Mora, MN, and Betty Locke, Aurora, OR; and her best friend, Carla Theisen.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; children, Richard Buddy, Leonard Larson, Carol Larson, and Diane Larson; sisters, Sandra Schalwig, and Patricia Olson who died at a young age; brother, Roger Olson; and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior and will continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Superior.
