Donna M. Loughren

Donna M. Loughren, 81, longtime Superior area resident, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Superior Rehab and Nursing Center in Superior. She was born on December 31, 1934 in Duluth, MN the daughter of Clarence and Cecelia (Fitzsimmons) Siddall.

Donna was an avid reader. She enjoyed walking and playing the piano. She was a generous and caring person always willing to help someone in need. Donna enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially her children.

Donna is survived by three daughters, Mary (Dave Eckhard) Peterson, North Carolina; Sharon (Scott) Johnstad, Superior, WI; and Joanie (Richard Fortin) Johnson, Superior, WI; one son, William (Sherry) Patterson, Superior, WI; five grandchildren, Brittney (Andy) Hacker, Jessie (Mike) Triba, Matthew (Kim) Peterson, Christine Johnstad and Shannon Johnstad; one great-grandson, Andrew Peterson; one sister, Cheryl (David) Sanda, Superior, WI; two brothers, Richard (Bernice) Siddall, Duluth, MN and Terry Rogers, Superior, WI; several step-children and step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Earl Patterson; her second husband Orville Loughren in August 1999; one sister, Cleo Sahlsteen; two brothers, Joseph (Sunny) Siddall and Bob (Red) Siddall.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Avenue, Superior, WI and continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service with Pastor Sarah Kerkes, officiating.

Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth.
