Doris M. White

Doris M. White, 80, longtime resident of South Range, died Sunday, April 28, 2019, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Frederick, WI on May 8, 1938, the daughter of Leon and Evelyn (Yeazle) Rhodes.

Doris and Lee White celebrated sixty years on February 13, 2019.

She worked for Holzberg’s Laundry and was a Union Officer for Local 150 for many years. Doris enjoyed being a Labor Union Organizer. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and woodworking.

Doris is survived by her beloved husband, Henry; daughters, Betty Arnnet, Shelly (Wayne) Benesch and Teri (Frank) Connolly; sons, Gary White, Bill (Pam) White and Mike White; sisters, Ann DeMars, Lois Quick and Pam Fisher.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Prendergast; and brothers, Elmer, Gary, Ron, Bill and Leon Rhodes.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery in Spooner at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 3, 2019. Pastor Pam Fisher will officiate.
