Dorothy E. Ferrando

Dorothy E. Ferrando, Ashland, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born on October 29, 1937 the daughter of Clarence and Ruth Vought.

She was a graduate of Mellen High School. She was married on May 16, 1959 to John Ferrando in Mellen,WI.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John, five children; Terry (Tom) Jokinen, Peter (Audrey) Ferrando, Paula (Michael) Flatley, Doreen (Rick) Hutera, and Debra (Chad) Beirl; nineteen grandchildren, Audrey, Emiley, Whitney, Lee, Luke, Lilly, Ryan, Hillary, Christina, Hannah, Nicholas, Nathan, Emma, Zachary, Courtney, Megan, Ricky, Matthew, and Anthony; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Cheri) Vought and one sister, Carol Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Mary.

Dorothy was a kind and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed taking scenic rides and spending time with her family.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
