Dorothy E. Smith

Dorothy E. Smith, 91, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Superior Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Cumberland, WI, February 1, 1929 the daughter of Albert and Mollie (Simons) Kunselman.

She was united in marriage to Stanley Smith, June 7, 1953 and they celebrated sixty-seven years of marriage before her passing. Together they raised a family and Dorothy enjoyed her days as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Stanley; sons, Bruce (Marjorie) Smith, David Smith, and Steven Smith, all of Superior, WI; daughter, Koralie (Tom) Madsen, Superior; grandchildren, Carrie (Erik) Olson, Kendall (Adam) Bjornstad, and Bryan (Claire) Smith; one niece and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Albert Kunselman.

Per Dorothy’s wishes, no public services will be held.
