Douglas Harvey Keith, 91, resident of Solon Springs, WI, passed away peacefully in his home, on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born in Three Rivers, MI on January 21, 1933, the son of Ira and Vera (Shook) Keith. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, working in photo reconnaissance during the Korean War and being shot down in the line of duty. Following the war, he worked as a manager for the former Bell Telephone Company for many years. Doug was an avid outdoorsman and a gun enthusiast. His love of nature was reflected in much of what he did. He even built his own pond, of which he was very proud. He is survived by his daughters Tracy (Peter) Davidson, Baraboo, WI, and Kelly (John) Riihiluoma, Cloquet, MN; his brother John “Fred” (Judy) Keith; and six grandchildren. Doug is preceded in death by his grandson Samuel Reese White; brother David; sisters Connie and Margaret; and his parents Ira and Vera Keith. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
