Duane "Andy" Anderson

Duane “Andy” Anderson, 82, received his checker flag July 3 ^rd 2018. He passed from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Duane is survived by his wife Dottie of 59 years, his daughters Nancy O’Neill (Tom) and Mary Kay Roden (Brad), his brothers Dale Anderson (Doris), Dan Anderson (Pat), and his sister Mary Pankow (Bob).

Waiting to greet him were his parents Herbert and Klotilde, an infant son, his daughter Lorraine, a brother Don Paeth, and sister Sally Peterson. Duane and Dottie have 7 grandchildren, Danny Peterson (Tonya), Randine Bunkelman (Cody), Keegan O’Neill, Kali O’Neill, Emma Roden, and Tiegan Roden, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Andy’s Life will begin Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior. Visitation will continue at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM with a Service of Remembrance to be held at 1:00 PM with Gary Banker officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435 Honor Guard.

Duane loved the Brewers, Packers and of course racing so please dress casual and wear attire from one of these teams.

Following the service everyone is encouraged to meet at the Superior Speedway to watch him take his “final lap”. You can then join the family for his favorite: Shamrock Pizza in south end.

In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, cards and memorials are very much appreciated.
