Edna L. Eliason, 102, longtime Superior resident died peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN with her family at her side. She was born in Washburn, WI on September 18, 1918, the daughter of Raymond and Amelia (Ross) Hudson.
Edna was a longtime member of Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, and her faith was very important to her. Above all, Edna enjoyed her years spent raising her family and was a loving wife, and a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Gerald) Hill, Cottage Grove, MN, Sharon Mayotte, DePere, WI, Judie (Bill) Wood, Mesa, Az, and Cindy (Rich) Trebilcock, Lake Nebagamon, WI; grandchildren, Chad, Mandi, Michael, Jammie, Jimmy, Julie, Jill, and Julie; eighteen great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Henry Mattson; her second husband, Orville Eliason; step-sons, Edward Mattson, and Gerald Mattson; and twelve siblings.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Mission Covenant Church, 5161 S. County Rd. P, Polar, WI, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Pastor James Walsh officiating.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hawthorne, WI.
