Edward A. Minter, 61, lifelong Superior resident, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, in his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on May 2, 1963, the son of Robert and Irene (Krisik) Minter.
He graduated from Superior Senior High School in the class of 1981. Ed worked multiple jobs around the area but most recently for the City of Superior, as an equipment operator, for 17 years.
Ed was united in marriage to Annette Amys on April 30, 1988. Before his passing, they celebrated thirty-six wonderful years together and raised three beautiful children.
He was a longtime member of the Catholic Ministries in the area and attended both Cathedral of Christ the King and St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Belgian Club.
In his free time, Ed loved to turkey hunt, bowl, ice fish, attend races, and go camping with his family. He held many titles over the years, but Papa was his favorite. He cherished any and all time he got to spend with his grandkids. He especially loved watching his grandson Hunter bowl and play baseball. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
