Edwin W. "Eddie" Radig Iii

Edwin W. “Eddie” Radig III, 55, lifelong area resident died Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born in Duluth, September 10, 1967, the son of Edwin and Renea (Lane) Radig II and was a graduate of Denfeld High School in Duluth.

Eddie enjoyed professional sports and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He was a music enthusiast and had a fondness for Heavy Metal, especially Iron Maiden. Above all, Eddie loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking them to the park. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be dearly missed and will forever be remembered for the kindness he shared with all who knew him.

Eddie is survived by his lovely daughters, Skylar Ugstad, Duluth, MN, Ashley (Reed Prochnow) Ugstad, Superior, WI; father, Edwin Willard Radig II, of Washington; brothers, Jeffrey Radig, Duluth, MN, Erick Radig, Duluth, MN; grandchildren, Vanessa Prochnow, Vivian Prochnow, Wade Prochnow, Reed Prochnow Jr., and Charles Prochnow; special aunt, Shirley (Terry) Hendrickson, Nashville, TN, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Renea Rychlak.

A Celebration of Eddie’s Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Kom-On-Inn, 332 N. 57 ^th Avenue West in Duluth.
