Eileen Larochelle

Eileen Larochelle (born September 21, 1947, age 72) died on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Superior.

Eileen, a Superior native, graduated from Superior Central High School in 1965, received an Associate’s Degree from WITC, and worked as a Branch Manager for the Superior Savings & Loan Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Stella Gustafson, as well as her brother Gary Gustafson. She is survived by her husband David Larochelle; her siblings, twin, Diane Beecher (Elsie), Steven Gustafson (Jane), and Lynn Lund (Dale); her children Andrew Sislo (Renee), Angela Erickson (Tony), and Anthony Sislo (Danielle); and grandchildren Adam, Dane, Johnathan, Madison, Thomas, and Emma.

Eileen was kind, funny, and endlessly devoted to her family. She was a member of the YMCA where she swam every day for many years. She was a fighter, living with multiple sclerosis for nearly 40 years. She passed on from this world on a beautiful early-summer day, the budding life of spring on full display.

A private family ceremony is being held.
