Eleanore I. Olby

Eleanore Irene Olby, 91, Lake Nebagamon resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior. She was born on November 30, 1925 to Charles and Selma (Nordin) Becker in Mason, WI.

She married James Emanuel Olby on March 23, 1946 and celebrated sixty plus years together.

She was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly Church. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Gather video and golf. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Eleanore is survived by three daughters, Yvonne (Wesley) Johnson, Janet (Fred) Brochu and Renee (Rodney) Otto; two sons, Merlin (Judy) Olby and Rodger Olby; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband James, her mother and father, two sons, Marvin James and Warren Dale, four sisters, Myrtle, Violet, Florence and Mildred, two brothers, Leonard and Walfred and great-grandson, Daunte Adolphson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to the 12 Noon funeral services in the Hawthorne Assembly of God Church, 6366 County Road E, Hawthorne, WI on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held at the church officiated by Pastor Joe Dokken.

Burial will take place in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery with graveside services officiated by Pastor Myron Anderson.
