Elma N. Sandahl

Elma N. Sandahl, 102, longtime Superior resident, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Lighthouse of Superior. She was born on May 13, 1913 in the Town of Superior to Otto and Alma (Jarvi) Newman.

Elma was an owner/operator of dog breeding business for many years.

She loved collecting dolls and she had over 100 in her collection.

Elma is survived by one sister, Sylvia Wisti-Bloxham, Duluth, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Russell and John and sisters Ruby, Evelyn, Martha and Hazel.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street, Superior and continue until the 1:30 PM memorial service with Pastor H. Duane Aslyn officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
