Emily "Sally" W. Geisert

Emily “Sally” W. Geisert, 89, Superior resident, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at home. She was born on June 11, 1931 in Superior, WI to James and Betty (Sweeney) Stannard.

Sally graduated from Central High School in Superior, WI. She was a competitive bowler. She loved crocheting and baking.

Sally is survived by her children, Paula (Ron) Luostari, Maple, WI, Scott (Deanne) Orville, Hawthorne, WI, Mark (Rhonda) Orville, Superior, WI, Paulette (Bob) Emery, SD, Lisa Urbaniak, Colorado Springs, CO and Tim Geisert, South Range, WI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special niece and caregiver, Alicia (Kirk Bolts) Kizer and her K-9 companion Molly.

She is preceded in death by first husband, Richard Orville, second husband Richard Geisert and son Douglas Orville.

Due to the current pandemic, memorial services will be held at a later date.

UPDATE: Visitation at 1:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery. Burial will at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery in Superior.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM at VIP - Vintage Italian Pizza, 1201 Tower Avenue, Superior.
