Erin M. Coons

Erin Marie Coons, 39, formerly of Superior, WI died unexpectedly on Friday, October 7, 2022, at her home in St. Paul, MN. She was born in Superior July 12, 1983, the daughter of Tanna Paulus and Bruce Coons.

Erin was an outgoing woman with a dynamic personality who could and would talk to anybody! She was creative and talented and created beautiful beadwork that she gifted to many. Erin was a sweet, kindhearted, loving woman with a personality you could never forget! Erin was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her!

Erin is survived by her parents, Tanna (Darryl) Paulus-Linn; her sister and best friend, Erica Coons; brothers, Michael Paulus, and Marcus Love, and nieces and nephews that meant the world to her, Nathaniel Johnson, De’Asiah Johnson, and Beauty Williams, all of Superior, WI; nephew, Dominic Love; sister, Kristina Linn; brother, Dayton Coons; sister, Ciera Coons; uncles, Bryan Coons, Randy (Sheila) Paulus, David (Michelle) Paulus, and Dan Fairbanks; aunts, Debbie Paulus, Heidi Paulus, and Hailey Paulus; thirteen cousins; her biological father, Bruce M. Coons, and many special friends.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents who she considered her second parents, Ellery and Ellen Coons, and her maternal grandmother, Shirley Paulus.

A Celebration of Erin’s Life will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street in Superior, with a Service of Remembrance to begin at 1:30 PM.
