Esther M. Denston

Esther M. Denston, 99, lifelong Superior resident, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on November 24, 1914 in Superior, WI to Edward and Hilda (Yterdahl) Peterson.

Esther was the owner/operator of Esther Hairstyles for many years retiring in 1972.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Esther is survived by her son, Peter (Rosalae) Schultz, Green Bay, WI and daughter, Carole Phillips, Minnesota; four granddaughters, Diane Myhre, Kay (Pat) Reed, Prin Myhre and Penelope Schultz; three grandsons, Graydon Myhre, Peter (Amy) Schultz, III, and Erik (Jody) Schultz; seven great-grandchildren, Cole, Mattie, Claire, Ryan, Wylon, Lexie and Piper.

Grave side services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Summit Cemetery, in the Town of Summit, Wisconsin with Pastor Sarah Kerkes of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, officiating.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
