Eunice L. Alholm

Eunice L. Alholm, 74, longtime Maple are resident, died at her residence, Saturday November 26, 2011 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Iron River, WI on January 2, 1937, the daughter of Chester and Martha (Granlund) Olson.

Eunice married Edwin Alholm on August 1, 1970 in Saginaw, Minnesota and recently had celebrated forty-one years of marriage.

She was a member of the Cloverland Covenant Church and the Gideon’s in Superior.

Eunice enjoyed playing scrabble and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin; two brothers, David (Joyce) Olson, Port Wing, WI and Eben (Judy) Olson, Beaver Dam, Virginia; one sister, Linda Kiggins, Mason, WI and many nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Carol (Tom) Knolton, Excelsior, MN and Joanne (Fran) Miller, Maple, WI.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kirk Allen Hanley; her parents; one brother, Roy Olson and one sister, Marsha Hutton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior.

Visitation will continue at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Cloverland Covenant Church and continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Pastor Charles Ells, officiating.

Burial will be in the Cloverland Covenant Cemetery.
