Evelyn R. Card, 92, Superior, died Thurday, January 20, 2011 in Essentia Health in Duluth, MN.
She was born on May 6, 1918 in Ashland, WI to Walfred and Agnes (Svedin) Erickson.
She married Phillip “Jim” Card and recently celebrated sixty-seven years of marriage.
Evelyn was employed for many years as an office manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance in Duluth.
She enjoyed outdoor activities, rooting for the Packers, playing cards and traveling. And she especially loved family get togethers.
In addition to her husband Jim, Evelyn is survived by two nieces, Carole (Dale) Erickson Crisler, Rice Lake, WI, Ruth (Steve) Roberts, Plymouth, MN; several great nieces and nephews as well as cousins in Sweden.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Evert Erickson.
A private family service was held on Wednesday with the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements.
