Evonne E. Cullen, 85, Superior resident, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Hospice Unit in Duluth, MN. She was born in Albany, WI on November 1, 1929 to William V. and Jessie (Cole) Whipple.
Evonne was a cook for Parkside Daycare Center for twenty years.
She was a long time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Loves Park, IL where her active years were spent serving as a Deacon, and circle member. In her younger years she was very active with the Girl Scouts and Job’s Daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her children, cooking, sewing and crocheting.
Evonne is survived by four daughters, Pamella (Raul Romo) Converse, Tucson, AZ, Vicki (William) Mullens, Superior, WI, Judith (James) Rousonelos, DeKalb, IL and Sharon (Daniel Garza) Bucholtz, Lindenhurst, IL, and; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Friedrichs and one brother, Arthur (Letha) Whipple, both of Monroe, WI and multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cullen and her parents.
Memorial and graveside services will take place at a later date in Illinois.
