Frances G. Sandvick

Frances G. Sandvick, 93, a lifelong Superior resident, died Monday, April 6, 2020 at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior, WI. She was born on June 24, 1926 in Superior, WI to Paul and Jennie (Bogdzio) Chicras.

She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, parents, sister Eleanor Ertman and brother in law, Hank Ertman.

Frances graduated from Superior Central High School and attended The College of St. Scholastica.

A devoted mother and homemaker, Frances is survived by two sons, Paul “Sandy” (Judy) Sandvick, Milwaukee, WI and Mark “Doc” (Susan) Sandvick, Superior, WI; four grandchildren, Carolyn (Matt) Ship, Peter Sandvick, David Archambault and Christi Fagerlie and one great-granddaughter Harper Ship. She also has 12 nieces and nephews.

Due to CDC guidelines, and Governor mandates, services for Frances are pending for a later date.
