Francis G. "Frank" Scholfield

Francis G. “Frank” Scholfield, 75, of Superior, former resident of Warren, MI, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Duluth, MN. He was born February 22, 1942 in Detroit, MI, the son of Everett and Angelina (DeVogel) Scholfield.

Frank attended both Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Superior, WI.

He is survived by his brother, Raymond (Ruth) Scholfield; sister, Marie (Herbert) Lewis and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frank was the grandson of the late, Alphonse (Eliza) DeVogel. Also, preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alphonse Scholfield.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2017 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Belknap Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Adam Laski as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
