Frank Wesley Ray

Frank Wesley Ray, 74, Oulu, WI, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation in Duluth, MN. He was born on May 15, 1942 in Waukegan, IL to Chester and Joan (Enlow) Ray.

He was employed with Milwaukee Electric Tool Co. and was a Rural Postal and Newspaper Carrier. He also worked as a Bus Drive for the South Shore School District and worked for Everett Fisheries. Frank served his country in the United States Army as a medical specialist during the Vietnam War.

He married Sandra Wellskopf on September 6, 1969 and they celebrated forty-seven years of marriage before his passing.

Frank accepted Christ as his Saviour as a young man, and the Lord continued to work in his life throughout the following years. Frank attended both the Grace Baptist and Lakeside Baptist Church. He loved coin collecting and enjoyed end time prophecy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; three daughters, Promise (Dale) Nelson Jr., Oulu, WI, Charity (Jeremiah) McClure, Waino, WI and Merci (Austin) Lind, Hudson, WI; five sons, Matthew (Missy) Ray, Trego, WI, Jacob (Lynsey) Ray, Madison, WI, Abraham (Melissa) Ray, Oulu, WI, Josiah (Kristie) Ray, Chippewa Falls, WI and Seth (Kasey) Ray, Brule, WI; seventeen grandchildren; two sisters, Sue (Dennis) Halbmaier, Cherry Valley, IL and Cherith (Bill) Welter, Cantonment, FL and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Grace Baptist Church in Iron River and will continue until the 12:00 PM funeral service with Pastor Tom Blomberg officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Pine Glade Cemetery in Oulu, WI.
