Fred W. Bell, Jr.

Fred W. Bell, Jr., 87, Superior resident, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Superior.

He was born on July 6, 1923 in Duluth, MN to Fred and Lillian Bell, Sr.

He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Fred married Carol Wimby and they celebrated fifty-nine years of marriage.

He worked at Kari Garage as a parts man and general service for many years until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife Carol in 2004 and daughter Jeanne in 2010.

Fred is survived by five sons, Fred (Maggie), Earl (Judy), Duck, Tony and Johnny Bell and a daughter, Pam Bell.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 6, 2011 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
