Gary D Johnson

Gary D. Johnson, long-time Superior area resident passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

He was born on February 16, 1949 in Superior, Wisconsin the son of Melvin and Dorothy Johnson.

Gary was a self employed Journeyman Painter.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brandt; two sons, Mark (Molly) Johnson and Rick (Regina) Johnson; three daughters, Deanne (Taylor) Branham, Brandi (Bill) Branham and Danielle Johnson; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandee (Bob) Knuckey and Tami (Neil) Anderson; one brother Jack (Peggy) Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Terry Johnson and one sister, Sue Moen.

Gary was a charming, gentle soul who loved his children, family and beloved pet

Per Gary’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.

The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
