Gaylord "Googs" Palm, 80, lifelong resident of Superior, left to join his beloved wife in peace on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN.
Gaylord was born on June 30, 1944. He graduated from East High School in Superior. He spent most of his adult life working for the Superior Police Department.
His passion was golfing and hunting. He met and married the love of his life Dawn Gullo. They spent many years enjoying their life, especially taking road trips all over the United States. It gives the family comfort knowing they are together again hitting the open road!
Gaylord is survived by his brother Richard (Carol) Palm, Florida; Stepsister Sue Draver Daniels, California; niece Julie Palm, North Carolina and cousin Janet Gondik, Superior as well as a large extended group of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dawn Palm; his parents Clarence Palm and Lee Heimerl Draver; stepfather Ken Draver; and stepmother Lorraine Palm.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
