Grant Patrick Silliman, Sr.

Grant Patrick Silliman, Sr., 54, died unexpectedly May 16, 2021, at his home in Duluth, MN.

A small memorial service will be planned later this year to celebrate his life.

Grant was born July 25, 1966 in Superior, Wisconsin. He gained his high school education in North Dakota and later gained his CNA license and worked at St. Benedictine nursing home until he retired due to a disability.

Grant had a love for fishing. He was a true friend to those he met. He was very charismatic and a great comedian. Grant was a protector. He would ensure the safety of his family and those around him in need.

He is survived by his son, Grant Silliman, Jr.; his sisters, Cristina Silliman, Angie (Trever) Litchy, and Jolene Herron; many nephews and nieces, and grandnieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol (Bennett) Herron and Michael Silliman.

Grant will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
