Gwen Terese Lindberg

Gwen Terese Lindberg, 59, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born in Duluth, November 26, 1964, the daughter of Glenn and Jacqueline (Gallant) Kotlarek.

She was a graduate of East High School in Duluth, class of 1983, and was intelligent and hardworking. With her outgoing personality, she excelled in her various jobs working as an administrative assistant for many years, most recently at Pomps Tire in Superior.

In her free time, Gwen enjoyed being outside. She loved sunrises and sunsets, gardening in her yard and collecting beautiful wind chimes. Above all, Gwen loved spending time with her grandchildren, which she made sure to do a lot of over the last couple of years and truly cherished their time together.

Gwen was extremely social and fun-loving. She enjoyed singing karaoke and was known to be the life of the party. Her strength of personality and genuine heart touched the lives of many and allowed her to build many strong relationships over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Lindberg (Ben Lee) Esko, MN; son, Scott (Tanya) Rabold, Duluth, MN; granddaughters, Jordyn and Jayden Lee, and Sydney and Jenna Rabold; her parents, Glenn and Jacqueline Kotlarek, Duluth, MN; sisters, Stacey (Joseph) Quade, Duluth, MN, Becky (Jeff) Dennis, of Nebraska, Patty Kotlarek (Marty), Duluth, MN, and Michelle (Bob) Nikkola, Duluth, MN; nieces and nephews, Tony, Christopher, Camile, and Presley, and many special friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

A Celebration of Gwen's Life will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 17th, 2024, at The Hampton Inn Duluth Canal Park, 310 Canal Park Drive, Duluth, MN.
