Helen L. Christensen

Helen L. Christensen passed away August 16, 2022, at Villa Marina, Superior, WI. Helen was born December 23, 1922, in Tyler Mn to Marius and Dorothea Friis. On March 6, 1948, she married Harding Christensen and moved to Wentworth, WI and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage. In 1973 they moved to Superior and were long time active members of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Harding, beloved daughter Joy Draves, her parents, as well as her siblings. She is survived by son Gary (Kay) Christensen, Wautoma, WI, Son in Law Dave Draves, Spread Eagle, WI, five grandchildren Stacey (Aaron) Gravunder, Wautoma, Abby (Jeremy) Weiland, Wautoma, Steven (Kari) Draves, Woodbury, MN, Mark (Natalie) Draves, Oshkosh, WI, Kevin (Brianne) Draves, Rogers, MN. She is further survived by great grandchildren Alexa and Ava Gravunder, Brayden and Gavin Draves, Jase Draves, and Brice, Owen, and Emma Weiland. A special place in Helen's heart for niece Sandy (Dave) Nielsen and friend/caregiver Alice Lee, and Kris Cochrane for cards and hugs.

Helen loved all of her family and was always grateful for the many visits.

Per Helen's wishes there will be no public services.
