Helen M. Hammond

Helen M. Hammond, 92, Superior area resident and formerly of Tombstone, AZ, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at St. Francis in the Park, Superior.

She was born on January 23, 1918 in Superior, WI to Dominick and Augustina (Pischke) Sikorski.

Helen is survived by two daughters-in-law, Joetta Anderson, Tombstone, AZ and Shirley Anderson, Superior, WI; two granddaughters, Julie (Jeff) Isackson, Superior, WI and Jennifer (Mark) Vukelich; three great-grandchildren, Ian and Lindsey Isackson and Emily Vukelich.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Everett Anderson and her second husband, Frank Hammond; two sons, Ronald and Thomas Anderson.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 2:00 PM funeral service.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
