Helen St. Onge

Helen St. Onge, 94, Superior resident, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Duluth, MN. She was born on June 29, 1923 in Superior and lived in ‘East End’ nearly all of those years.  She raised her family there while being a member of the St. Francis Church congregation. In addition to her family, she enjoyed rosemaling, gardening, bird and wildlife viewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund St. Onge whom she married December 1, 1946. She was also preceded by her parents, eight brothers and sisters and one grandchild, Danielle St. Onge.

Helen is survived by her two children, Lynette Boyles and Greg St. Onge; one granddaughter and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the church following the committal service at St. Francis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Helen’s name to the St. Francis Church Elevator Fund, 2316 E 4th Street, Superior WI 54880.
