Henry John Berthiaume

February 13, 2001 — November 14, 2016

Henry John Berthiaume
Born February 13, 2001 (6th of 9 children) to Jeff and Sandee Berthiaume of Wentworth, WI, went home to be with Jesus, on Monday, November 14, 2016. Through Henry’s up-bringing, he came to know and love Jesus at a very young age. Henry’s walk with the Lord was made evident to people through his generous spirit and willingness to always share his time and talents.

Henry loved his family very much. Making people laugh and entertaining his 9 nieces and nephews was always on his list of things to do. Henry was a very mechanically minded homeschooled 10th grader, with the ability to fix just about anything, and the things he could not, received a healthy portion of duct tape.

The 4th of July with family was the most exciting time of year for Henry, as he always enjoyed showing off his love for tannerite and fireworks – sometimes more than most adults would have liked. He also had a passion for the unborn and helping any way he could at the Lake Superior Life Care Center. Henry loved the outdoors, and most days you could find him walking the pines for grouse or rabbits, and in the fall you could bet he’d be in a tree waiting for his chance at a deer, shooting his first buck at the age of 11 with his father.

Henry was a young entrepreneur starting a scrap business at age 9, and he loved to hand out his business cards. He made a fortune off his endeavors, but often spent most of it spoiling his nieces and nephews or helping others, and buying sugar (the kid could consume huge amounts of it). His favorite sports were hockey and softball. He played many seasons with his family, friends and favorite coach, Mike Granlund.

Henry is preceded in death by his grandparents Stanley and Nancy Lach; Uncle Mike Lach; great grandpa Jerry Archambeau, Grandpa Dick Berthiaume, Aunt Ruth Ann Berthiaume; and 7 miscarried siblings only HE has had a chance to meet.

Henry is survived by his parents Jeff and Sandee; siblings Jessica (Reuben) Downey from Owensboro, KY and their children Micah, Evelyn, and Asher; Jamie (Zack) Stano from Superior, WI and their children Ziva, ZJ, Damian, and Deziray; Emily (Seth) Taylor from Minot, ND and their son Wyatt, and baby on the way; Lena Berthiaume, Superior, and Lucas, Anna, Samuel and Grace at home; Grandma Carol Berthiaume; Church Grandparents Earl and Barb Teikeppe and numerous aunts and uncles and a bazillion cousins, and his best friend Isaiah Huray.

Visitation will be 3 – 7 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Bayside Baptist Church, Superior. Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, November 21, 2016 at Bayside Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Ells of Lakeside Baptist Church officiating.
