Inez M. Esselstrom

Inez M. Esselstrom, 96, lifelong Town of Lakeside area resident, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on November 6, 1917 in Sioux Falls, SD to Rasmus P. and Anna (Bowman) Christensen.

She graduated from the former Central High School in Superior.

Inez was a member of the Amnicon Senior Citizens Center and the Millview Community Club. She enjoyed reading, bingo, gardening and she loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Kay (John) Cummings, Cary, IL; one son, Duane (Kathryn) Esselstrom, Maple, WI; five grandchildren, Lisa Cummings, Woodstock, IL, Sharon (Jeff) Anderson, Buffalo Grove, IL, Sandra (Donald) Scott, Pearl City, IL
Jacob (Kristin) Esselstrom, Belleville, WI, Luther (Jen) Esselstrom, St. Francis, WI; five great-grandchildren, Jannette, Gwendolyn, Shelby, Annika and Emmitt and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gideon, her parents and three sisters, Alice Lintula, Wanda Lange and Iva O’Hara.

Visitation will begin at Noon and will continue until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home with Wesley Koehler, officiating.

Burial will in the Lakeside Cemetery in the spring.
