Jack P. Oesterreich, 84, longtime Superior area resident, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.
He was born on August 31, 1932 in Duluth, MN, the son of George and Nina (Johnson) Oesterreich.
Jack was employed by Midwest Energy as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and any outdoor activity.
Jack is survived by his wife, Naudean of twenty five years: two sons, John (Kathy) Oesterreich and Gary (Bev) Oesterreich, both of AZ; eight step-daughters, Barbara Roe, Gordon, WI, Jeanette (Glen) Kindred, Superior, WI, Linda DeRoo, Superior, WI, Mary Estherholm, Superior, WI, Debbie (Rob) Semborski, Superior, WI, Theresa Cloutier, Superior, WI, Janet (Dennis) Reuille, South Range, WI, and Jean (Tim) Nylen, St. Michaels, MN; three step-sons, Tom Levin, Superior, WI, David (Terry) Lambert, Superior, WI and Mark (Donna) Lambert, Amery, WI; two brothers, George Oesterreich and Bob Rivard, both of Superior, WI and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy; second wife Dorothy; third wife, Delores; his parents; step-father Oliver Rivard, daughter, Barbara Taylor, step-son Bob Levin and one sister, Carol Gallick.
A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street, Superior, WI.
