Jacob A. “Jack” Agnich, 72, Superior, WI, formerly of Ely, MN, died Monday, February 10, 2014 in his home.
He was born on October 8, 1941 in Ely, MN to Jack and Mary (Marolt) Agnich.
He was employed as a manager for the Fortune Bay Casino.
Jack liked fishing, gardening and working on old cars, especially his 1980 El Camino.
He enjoyed bowling for many years and was competitive at the semi-pro level.
His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Jack is survived by two daughters, Angela Debeltz, Ely, MN, Jacquelynn Agnich, Hermantown, MN; one son, Jason Agnich, Superior; five grandchildren, Cheryl DeWitt, Superior; Dylan and Danica Starkmen, both of Ely, MN, Marcus Agnich, Hermantown, Spencer Agnich, Superior and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Mitchell, Superior.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Jacob Albert Agnich, Jr.
Per Jack’s wishes, no public services will be held.
