Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” Johnson, 74, longtime resident of Superior died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in her home. She was born in St. Paul, MN on September 11, 1949, the daughter of Axel D. and Adeline (Furhman) Johnson.
Jackie graduated from East High School and the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and went on to work as a Medical Lab Technologist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth for many years. She later moved on to Lake Superior College where she shared her knowledge and skills teaching classes in the medical field for several years.
Jackie was a creator at heart and had a great love for books. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, basket-weaving and crafting.
Jackie was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by her sister, Judy (Dan) MacDonald; brother, David (Karen) Johnson, and several nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Axel “Dave” Johnson, and mother, Adeline Archambeau.
Per Jackie’s wishes, no services will be held.
