James L. Villebrun, Sr.

James Lee Villebrun, Sr., 76, passed away following injuries he sustained in an auto accident on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Essentia health, Fargo, ND. He was born in White Earth Township on March 1, 1945, the son of Lawrence and Dawn (Perrault) Villebrun.

James served his country honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was in construction following the Army.

He is survived by his son, James (Darlene) Villebrun, Jr.; daughters, Jacquelyn (David) Adams, Josette (Brian) Church, and Kristina Villebrun; grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Richard and Kaitlyn Villebrun, Savannah and Alexus Adams, and Olivia Church; sisters, Phyllis (John) Caruth and Lorna (Cliff) Villebrun, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Diane; and his lifelong partner, Georgia; grandson, James Villebrun III; brother, Lawrence Villebrun; sister, Jean Johnson; and nephew, Peter Villebrun.

A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on September 24, 2021, at 1 pm at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, 477 Hwy 53 in Saginaw. Procession Line starts at 12:30 at the Harley Davidson Store- Hermantown

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11am – 2pm, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Ride or Die Pizzeria, 1603 Broadway Street in Superior, WI.

Cremation Service of Superior, 403 E Street, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
