Jamie Chapman

Jamie Arleen Chapman, 38, South Range, passed away on Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth following a courageous battle with cancer, with her husband by her side.

She was born on March 5, 1977 in Superior to John and Corleen (Smebak) Shaw.

She married Derek Chapman on September 13, 2014 in South Range.

Jamie was previously employed at Tavern 105, the Choo Choo Bar and the Shack.

She was an avid Viking fan and also enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband Derek, Jamie is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Sanda, Tiphanie Sanda; two sons, Andrew Sanda, Derek Daniel Chapman; her parents, John and Corleen Shaw, Superior; two sisters, Cherra Shaw, Superior, Chasity Point, Superior and one granddaughter, Teyah Arleen Shaw Sanda.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Daniel “Chappy” Chapman.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 and will continue until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Ave., Superior, with Pastor Scott Brown, officiating.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
