Janet P. Koski

Janet P. Koski, 84, Superior, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Francis Home in the Park. She was born on September 6, 1930 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Harley and Dorothy (Courtright) Schooler.

She was employed as a secretary for State Farm Insurance in Babbitt, MN for many years before her retirement in 1992.

Janet was a former member of Woodland Presbyterian Church in Babbitt, MN.

Her family and reading were her passions.

Janet is survived by one daughter, Julianne Koski, Superior; four sons, Larry (Jeannine) Koski, Clermont, FL, Daniel (Pamela) Koski, Cottage Grove, MN, Timothy (Elaine) Koski, Murfreesboro, TN, Steven (Laurie) Koski, Bend, OR; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (James) Scott, Aurora, MN, Diane Walz, Virginia, MN; one brother, Jerry (Betty Ann) Schooler, Maple Grove, MN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William; her parents; a sister, Julianne and a brother, Richard Schooler.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and will continue until the 1:30 PM Memorial Service on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Superior with Pastor Sarah Kerkes, officiating.
