Janet M. Pearson

Janet Marie Pearson, 75, resident of Duluth, MN, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in her home. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 15, 1949, the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy (Ackerly) Fischer.

She was in the United States Air Force and worked on the Duluth base for many years.

Janet will be dearly missed by her children Shawnette (Arthur) Carre, Gail (Fred) Thiel, and C. John (Terra) Pearson Jr; grandchildren Devin Pearson, Marques Foix, David Foix, Curtis (Erica) Korn, Kyimeny (Shane) Kromer, Dominick Truscott, Taylor Pearson, and Carter John Pearson; great-grandchildren Jaxson Korn, Hunter Westerberg, Chaslynn Males, Aiden Cooper, Evelyn Kromer, and Eleanor Kromer; several nieces and nephews; and adoptive family/friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Deeanna Crist; sisters Susan Soklowaski, Linda Jarvis, and Toni Thompson; and brothers Richard, Robert, Michael, and James Fischer.

A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at V.I.P. Restaurant, 1201 Tower Avenue in Superior, in the back room.
