Janice Gloria Berg

Janice Gloria Berg, 78, lifelong Superior resident, died Monday, June 17, 2019, at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior. She was born in Superior, September 24, 1940, the daughter of Swan and Betty (Peterson) Nelson.

Janice was a great people person. She worked as a bank teller at the Co-Op Credit Union for many years, and was a member of the Bunko Club of Superior and Duluth, and a former member of the Red Hat Ladies.

She is survived by her son, Brian Berg, Superior, WI; brother, Lloyd Nelson, Superior, WI; nephews, Chuck and Dale Nelson, Superior, WI; niece, Julie Sitek, Roseville, MN; and good friends, Shawn and Molly Andrews, Superior, WI.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Thomas Berg; and brother, Don Nelson.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 21, 2019, at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior, and will continue until the 4:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Victor St. George of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.
