Janice "Jan" J. Davidowski

Janice “Jan” J. Davidowski, 77, Brule, WI resident, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth. She was born on July 20, 1940 in Superior, WI to Alfred and Lucille (Lyons) Weyandt.

She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1958. She worked for the Superior School District for over twenty years. Jan married Joseph “Joe” Davidowski on July 11, 1959 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Iron River, WI and celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Iron River, WI. She was an avid golfer and liked to curl.

Jan is survived by her husband, Joseph “Joe”; two sons, Jay (Brenda) Davidowski, Plymouth, MN and their sons, Cole and Rory Davidowski, both of Plymouth, MN and Joel (Nicola) Davidowski, Park City, UT and their sons, Austin “AJ”, Andrew and Trey, all of Park City, UT. She is preceded in death by her mother Lucille and stepfather Earle Erdman.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior.  Visitation will resume at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Iron River on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM and continue until the 11:00 AM Catholic memorial service with Deacon John Grek officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Jan’s name to the Douglas County Humane Society.
