Jeanne M. Brokke, 88, Superior, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Superior

.
She was born on June 21, 1925 in Virginia, MN to William and Martha (Lokrantz) Podvin.

She graduated from high school in Stanley, WI in 1943 and went on to attend Duluth Business College.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Jeanne is survived by one sister, Mary E. (Thomas) Mihajlov, Eau Claire, WI; one brother, William C. (Marcell) Podvin, Waupun, WI and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence on November 13, 2005 and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
