Jeffrey “Jeff” H. Johnson, 51, South Range, WI resident, died Sunday, January 27, 2019 in his home of natural causes. He was born on October 24, 1967 in Superior, WI to Howard and Mary Jane (Nelson) Johnson.
He graduated in 1986 from Superior Senior High School. Jeff was a truck driver and drove for several companies and was currently with Northland Foods. He was a Teamster member and had 3,000,000 miles with no tickets or accidents and was also a member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his dog Murphy.
Jeff is survived by two sons, Zachary King, Dickinson, ND and Morgan Johnson, South Range, WI; two grandchildren, Charlee King and Tanner Johnson; his longtime companion, Michelle Evans, South Range, WI; stepdaughter, Ashley Evans, South Range, WI; two brothers, Randy (Pam) Johnson, Charleboix, MI and James (Amy) Johnson, Duluth, MN and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jane Ballou.
A Time of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 th Street, Superior.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the “Boars Nest”/Hunting Shack this spring. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and his ability to make anybody laugh.
