Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Steltz

Jeffrey “Jeff” S. Steltz, 58, Superior, WI resident, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 18, 1962 in Superior, WI to Oscar and Margaret (Houle) Steltz.

Jeff was a self-employed painter for many years. He enjoyed working on his car and electronics.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Jeremy Bailey) Santana, Port Wing, WI; three grandchildren, Austin, Jalin and Haven; five brothers, Lenny (Joan) Steltz, Gary (Betsy) Steltz, Larry (Dawn Staples) Steltz, all of Superior, WI, Earl Steltz, Silsbee, TX and Joe (Marcia) Steltz, Charlotte, MI; one sister, Pat (Charles) Pruett, and several nieces and nephews; special friend, Val Lucarelli, Superior, WI. The entire Steltz family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Daphne Hanson for the love and many sacrifices she made caring for Jeffrey as a child.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Margaret, sisters, Edna Wuori and Sandy Steltz, brothers, Chucky, Dale, Raymond and infant brother Brian.

Due to covid restrictions on group gatherings, services for Jeff will be held at a later date.
