Jeffrey Leonard Sherlock

Jeffrey Leonard Sherlock, 57, currently of Arizona, formerly of the Superior area, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Arizona following a lengthy illness. He was born September 27, 1959 in Downey, CA, the son of Leonard G. and Shirley (Simons) Sherlock.

He was a graduate of the Superior Senior High School, class of 1977, and remained a Superior resident until he retired to Arizona in 1990. Jeff married Cathy Ward in 2005 in Arizona, and they celebrated twelve years of marriage before his passing.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed both football and golf. He especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Jeff will be remembered by all for his humor, quick wit and his love for life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy; daughters, Jennifer (Brody) Borham, Duluth, MN and Sarah (Ryon) Morgando Rogers, MN; grandsons, Andrew, Christian, Alexander and Jacob; granddaughter, Ava; brothers, Ronald (Joyce), Steger, IL, Larry (Kay), Mesa, AZ, Michael, Gilbert, AZ; Steven (Jeanette), Mesa, AZ; and Mark (Jamie), Superior, WI; sister, Robbi (Joe) Tribbey and mother, Shirley Turner, both of Superior, WI, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard “Bud” Sherlock; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Simons; paternal grandparents, Louis and Eleanor Sherlock; uncle Donald Simons and cousin, William Nelson.

A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Saturday, October, 7, 2017 at the Superior Moose Club #606, 66 East Fifth Street. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 1:00 PM led by Wes Koehler, with a luncheon to immediately follow.
