Jennifer Rose Peterson

Jennifer Rose Peterson, 26, Superior resident, died Monday, August 23, 2021. She was born on July 21, 1995, in St. Louis, MO, to Kenneth and Dawn (Wright) Peterson.

She was employed as a bank teller at BMO Bank. She also was a St. Louis Blues hockey fan.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, daughter, granddaughter and niece. She had the aspiration to move forward as a counselor to enable her to help other people. She was very empathetic person who chose to see the best in people. She always was a true friend to anyone she spoke to. She will be sadly missed by all.

Jennifer is survived by two children, Dawson and Brayden; her parents, Ken and Dawn Peterson, Superior, WI; brother, Michael Peterson, St. Louis, MO; paternal grandmother, Mary Patricia Peterson; and her life partner, William Leppanen, Superior, WI.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Ryan Peterson, paternal grandfather Robert E. Peterson, maternal grandparents, Michael and Irene Wright.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and continue until the 12:00 PM Memorial Mass with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Superior.
