Jerry J. "Bits" Harty

Jerry J. "Bits" Harty, 50, formerly of Superior, currently of St. Francis, MN died unexpectedly on Monday, June 30, 2014 at his home.

He was born on September 5, 1963 in Superior to Ralph and Delores (Janovick) Harty, Jr.

Jerry was employed as a chef in Florida and was currently a restaurant manager. He was a big Detroit Lions fan.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Delores Harty, Superior; one brother, Ralph Harty III, St. Francis, MN and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother Patrick and a nephew, Ralph Harty IV.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Friday, July 11, 2014 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home. Rev. Fr. James Tobolski of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
